The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has directed its passengers to report earlier at airports keeping in view the unrest in the country. A spokesman for the airline said on Thursday that passengers traveling abroad should reach the airport five hours before departure of flights while those travelling by domestic flights should reach the airports four hours prior to their flights. The spokesman said the decision was taken to make sure that passengers take their flights on time. It is worth mentioning here that a group of religious activists have placed barriers on the roads on both sides of the airport to halt traffic. Passengers have to walk to the airport and it takes them some time to reach the boarding area.
