PORTO (Portugal) (AFP) - Two goals in the last 15 minutes from Radamel Falcao and Rolando gave Porto a 2-0 success over Spains Atletico Madrid in their Champions League game at the Dragao Stadium here on Wednesday. Porto, champions in 1987 and then again in 2004 under the stewardship of Jose Mourinho, had started their pool action with a 1-0 loss at Chelsea and these three points put them right back into contention. We were gunning for goals right from the outset and when FC Porto go into a competition it is to give the maximum, to go as far as possible, said Brazilian striker Hulk after Portos first success over a Spanish side for ten years. We didnt start well with our loss in London but we played well and now we have the three points at the Dragao and that is important for us, he told reporters. The victory puts Porto second in Group D, three points behind group leaders Chelsea. Colombian international Falcao backheeled the first and then Rolando was on hand to convert after a Bruno Alves header rebounded off the woodwork. Sergio Aguero and Diego Forlan both went close as Atletico, who are currently third-bottom of the Spanish top flight, tried in vain to get back into the game in the closing stages. The Spaniards hopes of advancing to the last 16 suffered a big blow in their first game, a goalless home stalemate against Cypriots Apoel Nicosia.
