100 tonnes items donated for affectees

OUR STAFF REPORTER KHANEWAL - The additional district collector has appealed to the people to generously donate to flood and rain victims in the Punjab and Sindh provinces. He dispatched 10 trucks of about 100 tonnes of relief goods for the victims in Sindh from Jinnah Library. The goods included cloths, ration and other items of daily use. On the occasion, ADC Asif Ali Farrukh said the people of Khanewal would continuously help for their complete rehabilitation. Also Assistant Commissioner Aamir Karim appealed to people to deposit whatever they could at relief centres set up in the district. It will be added in next consignment of relief goods.
