OUR STAFF REPORTER FAISALABAD - Young entrepreneurs are dynamic persons and an asset for the country, President Asif Ali Zardari said while talking to a four-member delegation at his house. The delegation comprised Industrial Police Liaison Committee Chief Syed Omer Nazar Shah, Faisalabad Development Trust Chairman Mian Mohammad Tayyab, FDT Trustee Hassan Munawar, and Young entrepreneurs Organisation Chairman Danish Ayub. President Asif Ali Zardari appreciated the role of young entrepreneurs in the development and consolidation of the country and said that the young entrepreneurs have done good work for putting the country on the path of economic prosperity. He acknowledged that young industrialists are future of the country and the most glaring contribution of young entrepreneurs was that they have done good work and are paying taxes and levies for betterment of the economy. He said that the present government would extend every possible facility for them to promote the industry. President recalled that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto had given a vision for augmentation of energy in the country and it was under her vision that a number of IPPs including the Hubco Karachi came forward to invest for power generation. He said that unfortunately gas and power position could not be improved. President encouraged the role of young entrepreneurs, and said that he had the plan to call the young entrepreneurs meeting to discuss their multiple problems and share with them ideas to collectively evolve a 4 prong strategy for advancement of the country. The President said that prior to joining politics, he himself was a ginner and hence he would try his optimum best for the alleviation of the ginning and textile sectors. The president asked Syed Omer Nazar Shah to convene an all Pakistan meeting of the countrys young entrepreneurs in the Presidency. He hoped that the proposed meeting would help pull the country out of economic crisis and after implementation of their viable recommendations the textile sector would gain an impetus for systematic and gradual improvement.
