LAHORE Punjab Law Minister Rana Sana Ullah Khan has said that progress has been made in the abduction case of Shahbaz Taseer, the son of slain Punjab Governor Salman Taseer, who was abducted in Gulberg area on August 26. Talking to the media at the Punjab Judicial Academy after giving award to newly trained 34 prosecutors here Saturday, the law minister said that a joint investigation team is working to investigate and find out whereabouts of Shahbaz and it has made concrete progress towards that end. He, however said, it was not appropriate at this point of time to disclose the details of the clues so far gathered to recover Shahbaz. To another question on the two-time death sentence to Mumtaz Qadri on the charges of killing Salman Taseer, he said it was judicial decision which needed to be respected by all. Earlier addressing the prosecutors, he asked them to work diligently, honestly and with dedication. He also announced Rs 10 million for the Academy.
