ISLAMABAD - Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi handed over dossier on human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir to visiting Danish Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod. According to sources, Qureshi urged the visiting foreign minister to take notice of these violations being committed by Indian security forces on the directives of Indian Prime Minister directly. The sources said the dossier was given during the lunch hosted by Qureshi in the honour of the Danish foreign minister. On the occasion, Qureshi, while handing over the dossier to his Danish counterpart, explained some of the salient features of the dossier on Kashmir and urged him to share with his Prime Minister and take up the issue with India. Denmark, which enjoys close ties with India as well, however, assured that he would look into the dossier and said both the countries should resolve the matter through dialogue and in accordance with the UNSC resolutions.
