An unconcerned community

I highly appreciate the efforts of our government in the Dr. Afia case in US. The Pakistan government has paid Rs. 50 million to the American lawyers handling the case. As a citizen of Pakistan, she had the right to get that support from her government. My question, though, is directed at the Pakistanis in US, especially those that are settled there for long and are making million of rupees (in dollar). Why are they not supporting Dr. Afia? Why can't they pool money to pay for her legal fees? -MURAD ALI MOHMAND, Peshawar, via e-mail, August 25.
