SADIQABAD
The business community of tehsil Sadiqabad has demanded that the Pakistan Railways should approve stopovers of Shalimar Express, Tezgam Express and Pakistan Express at Sadiqabab Railways Station besides restoration of Super Express at the Sadiqabad-Faisalabad rout.
The demanded was made by Anjuman Tajran Sadiqabad President Khalid Saleem, other trade unions’ office-bearers including Ehsanul Haq, Sadiq Javed, Arshad Javed, Riazul Hasan, Abdul Aziz, Meraj Khan, M Iqbal, Asif Farooq, M Imran, Amir Taqi, M Ashraf and M Anwar.
They also demanded that Railways Minister Saad Rafiq should increase the reservation quota in trains. They regretted that train facility was not available for travelling between Faisalabad and Sadiqabad.
“Sadiqabad city is a big trade market and thousands of traders travel towards Faisalabad from Sadiqabad so does common public daily. The Pakistan Railways has stopped the functioning of Super Express at the Sadiqabad Railways Station while there was no stopover of the other trains.
Thus, the traders and the common citizens are facing a great ordeal in this regard,” they added.
