Two killed and two injured as violence continues

Karachi- At least 2 persons including a worker of MQM were killed and 2 other persons have been injured during different incidents of violence today.

According to reports, an activist of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) was targeted to death when he was en rout to drop his children in school near Gosh Pak road area of Korangi.

According to Zaman Town police, deceased Aman Ullah 40, was the resident of Korangi Sector 50 and was killed by unknown armed assailants soon after when he dropped his children to school, deceased has been shifted to hospital while anxiety was spread in area.

On other hand the incident of firing in front of K Grid Station in Baldia town claimed a life of Grid Station’s driver identified as Shabir while 2-meter readers Obaid and Ishaq were also sustained bullet wounds.

A driver and meter reader were on way to office when unidentified armed miscreants open fires on their vehicle which resulted in death of driver, injured were shifted to hospital where they are said to be stable.

However K Electric administration has strongly condemn the incident and asked high officials to take notice of it.
