Islamia University of Bahawalpur Vice Chancellor Dr Qaiser Mushtaq has handed-over the additional charge of Govt Sadiq College Women University (GSCWU) vice chancellor to Dr Talat Afza.
The Punjab government had notified the appointment of Dr Talat Afza as vice chancellor of GSCWU. Dr Qaiser Mushtaq was given additional responsibility of Women University on January 27, 2015.
On the occasion, Dr Qaiser Mushtaq welcomed Vice Chancellor Dr Talat Afza and termed it as a significant step by the government in progress and development of the institution.
He added that Higher Education Commission has already issued provisional NOC to GSCWU while Finance & Planning Committee has prepared budget for the current fiscal year.
