LAHORE - Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday chastised Punjab Information Minister Fiazul Hassan Chohan over his remarks about the film and stage stars, Nargis and Megha.

The prime minister asked the minister to be careful about using words about women. Imran reportedly said that the people of all classes and professions are respectable and no minster will be allowed insult any citizen.

Also on Saturday, the prime minister expressed displeasure with the barricades and road blocking in the city and ordered for their immediate removal. During his meeting with the provincial cabinet, he said the PTI government was opposed to VIP culture.

The prime minister gave this direction on Saturday as he noticed the difficulties being faced by the people due to the barricades erected following his arrival here on Friday night.

PM Khan also took notice of a protest demonstration at Zaman Park against National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) over the difficulties being faced by the people in getting the identity cards.

The prime minister directed Nadra chairman to meet with the affected people and take measures to resolve their issues.
