LAHORE - Prime Minister Imran Khan praised Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in an extraordinary manner at separate meetings of the Punjab cabinet and administrative secretaries on Saturday.

According to a handout issued here, the PM said: “The Punjab CM is an honest person and he is true picture of my ideology. I nominated Usman Buzdar on merit and I have complete confidence that he will use public money in the right way as he knows about problems of ordinary people very well. He knows about deprivations of the common man because there is no hospital or doctor in his area of 250,000 people. I’m giving all-out support to Usman Buzdar and he should work without any fear.” Imran asked the chief minister to work as per his ideology and support weaker segments of the society.  The prime minister said Usman Buzdar is a distinguished chief minister who has been elected chief minister first time. He did not seek any ministry; he asked for a hospital in his area, Imran said.

During the cabinet meeting, CM Buzdar thanked Imran for reposing trust and he vowed to materialis the dream of PM Imran Khan.

“The whole team of Punjab is standing with PM Imran Khan for the agenda of new Pakistan and we will work hard. Punjab will become role model for the implementation of 100-day plan of PM and we will give results at any cost,” Buzdar maintained.
