CDA awards Rs1.4b contract for construction of  judicial complex

ISLAMABAD - The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has awarded contract worth Rs1.4 billion to the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) for the construction of judicial complex in capital.
The lowest bid received by the Capital Development Authority for the construction of judicial complex in sector G-11/4 of the capital territory was by the FWO, which was approved by the CDA administration and it awarded the contract to FWO at one billion and forty crore rupees. 
The proposed design and layout plan of the complex includes separate washrooms for male and female, separate rooms for women and under-18 offenders, canteens and facilities like car parking. 
In addition, the construction and design of the judicial complex has been approved keeping in view the future needs and with the possibility of expansion.  It should be noted that the cost of construction of the judicial complex will be borne by the CDA, but after the completion of the project, the federal government will reimburse all the expenses to the CDA. The project will be completed in a short period of six months, according to the CDA officials.
