US President Barack Obama arrived in France Friday to meet European leaders and muster support for his new Afghanistan strategy at the NATO alliance's 60th anniversary summit. Obama was due to hold talks with French President Nicolas Sarkozy and German Chancellor Angela Merkel before the summit proper, where he was set to push European allies to bolster his drive to crush Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
