NASIRABAD (PPI) - Former Balochistan Chief Minister and PPP central leader MNA Mir Taj Muhammad Jamali died at hospital in Karachi Thursday. He was cousin of ex-PM Zafarullah Khan Jamali. His body would be brought to his native area in Kashmir Kot and he would be laid by the side of his father Jafar Khan Jamali. Taj Jamali belonged to a well-known political family of Balochistan. His father Jaffar Jamali was known as vanguard leader of Pakistan Movement. Taj Jamali was born in 1945. He remained Chief Minister Balochistan from 1990 to 1992. He was also a minister in the cabinet of late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He was elected as MNA on PPP ticket in February 18, 2008 general elections. News of his death spread like wild fire in Nasirabad and Jaffarabad districts and hundreds of people gathered in his village. Balochistan Governor Nawab Zulfikar Ali Magsi, Chief Minister Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani, provincial ministers Sadiq Umrani, Shafiq Ahmad Khan, Muhammad Amin Umrani, Agha Irfan Karim, Jan Muhammad Changezi, Asfand Yar kakar, Ali Madad Jattak, Ms Ghazala Gola, Rustam Khan Jamali and others have expressed deep grief and sorrow over his death.
