QUETTA - Baloch Liberation United Front (BLUF) that had abducted UNCHR official John Solecki has said that delaying tactics of government and United Nations were pushing Solecki towards death. We know abduction of UN official can be harmful for Baloch movement but we had no other option to record our protest, said Shayhaq Baloch, BLUF spokesman calling on satellite phone from unknown location. UNCHR official John Solecki was kidnapped on February 2, and his driver was killed by previously unknown BLUF. BLUF spokesman said that the govt and UN were not taking serious steps for the recovery of missing Baloch men and women except making appeals for the release of John Solecki. We warn UN that we will not release John Solecki until and unless our missing persons are recovered, he added. Responding to a question, he said the UN was not taking them into confidence as they had nominated Nawabzada Harbiyar Marri for reconciliation but they had not direct contact with him except media. He said that condition of John Solecki was deteriorating and warned delaying tactics could be harmful for John Solecki.
