ISLAMABAD (APP) - Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme, Farzana Raja Friday said that her party leadership wants to expand the circle of Benazir Bhuttos assassination probe to the planners and financiers at home or abroad so that the real motives of the crime could come on surface. Talking to a private television channel the PPP leader said that if such aspects are not covered in the investigation then it would remain inconclusive. We want to prove before the entire world that the investigation was free and independent as well as comprehensive, Farzana said. To a question she said that the UN team had knowledge of intelligence reports by some foreign countries regarding threat to Benazir Bhutto on her return to homeland. She said the UN team has not included these countries in the investigation thus leaving a room for critics to question the credibility of findings. Farzana Raja said that, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto had stated on certain occasions that some forces in association with Osama Bin Laden are conspiring to eliminate her. The PPP leader was also aware of the threats to her life on returning to home and mixing with the people. Farzana said the slain leader cherished deep love for the country and its people so she bravely face the martyrdom. Farzana said that BB rendered the sacrifice of her life for the country and its people adding she had challenged the threats of terrorists and extremists by saying that flag of Pakistan would be erected in Swat and Malakand again when the PPP gains power. She said that although the martyred leader is not in the world but her wish and vision has been implemented.
