QUETTA - A settler was killed and a security personnel sustained injuries in two separate incidents of firing in Kalat and Khuzdar towns of Balochistan on Friday. According to police, unidentified armed men riding a motorbike shot dead Muhammad Abid, a resident of Punjab, in Kalat town and escaped from the site after the committing the crime. Abid was working as Line Superintendent (LS) in Kalat. Police said it was an incident of target killing. Police handed over body to heirs after completing legal formalities. In another incident, unknown armed men sprayed volley of bullets on security personnel in Talwar Chowk of Khuzdar, two some 360 kilometers away from Quetta. The injured was rushed to the hospital.
