PESHAWAR – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said on Monday that PTI has strongly opposed the expected joining the party by PML (Q) ex-provincial president Amir Muqam as PTI held him equally responsible like his boss ex-president Pervez Musharraf for Lal Mosque incident, NRO and conspiracy against judiciary.

Workers of PTI had rejected the proposed joining of Amir Muqam as he was equally responsible for Lal mosque episode, NRO, and conspiracy against judiciary and that was why PTI opposed him, PTI Secretary Information Shah Farman said in a press statement issued here.

He said that before joining, PTI get opinion from the workers. In Amir Muqam case, he said that workers were unanimous that workers opposed Amir Muqam joining the PTI, he informed, adding that PTI did not take decision against the wishes of the party workers.

It is crystal clear that Amir Muqam fully backed Pervez Musharraf in his all infamous decisions whether it was related to weakening judiciary, introducing NRO, corruption or operation in Lal Mosque. He maintained that PTI’s doors are opened for all except corrupt politicians.

There is no room for Amir Muqam in PTI. Because, Amir Muqam was part of the statuesque and remains of ex-dictator Pervez Musharraf, he concluded.
