PESHAWAR – To provide better transportation facilities to the communities, the district administration has successfully completed the rehabilitation of an access road connecting Badwan and Khambo with Chakdarra in Tauda china area of Lower Dir. 

A Press release issued by Malakand Development Program (MDP) stated that the project was identified by the community members of the respective villages in meetings held with district administration. Therefore, the authorities ordered immediate work for the rehabilitation of 1624- meters long access road, which connected Badwan and Khambo villages to Chakdarra. Under the scheme, one pipe culvert and 244-meter long side drains has also been rehabilitated.

With construction of this road the locals have now an easy access to schools, hospitals and local markets.

This road would benefit more then 6000 people of the area. The locals appreciated the district administration efforts by constructing the road.
