LAHORE - The 34th National Boxing Championship will be held from April 23 to 27 here at the Punjab College of Commerce Muslim Town Hall.

Talking to this scribe, Punjab Boxing Association secretary M Yousaf Butt said boxers from all the four provinces – Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Fata, Railways, Wapda, Army, Navy, Air Force, HEC, KESC and Police would participate in the event.

PBF president Doda Khan Bhutto has allotted the championship to Punjab and he will also be among the guests. He said around 200 boxers and technical officials would take part in the event and the competitions would be held in 10 body weight categories. Pakistan Olympics Association president Lt Gen (r) Arif Hasan will inaugurate the championship while the chief guest of the closing ceremony would be Sardar M Latif Khosa, he concluded.
