LAHORE- PML-N President Nawaz Sharif and Sindh National Front Chairman Mumtaz Bhutto are expected to meet on Wednesday (tomorrow). Sources say that during the meeting some important announcement regarding merger of SNF into the PML-N or striking an electoral alliance will be made.

Both parties, at their respective level, have formed committees to work out modalities and by Wednesday they are much likely to reach a conclusion.

The SNF has big political clout in interior Sindh and merger of both parties in any form will go a long way to win them favourable ground in the upcoming elections.

Mumtaz Bhutto, cousin of former Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, after the assassination of his niece Benazir Bhutto in December 2007 has been critical to PPP led by Asif Ali Zardari.

It is pertinent to mention that Mumtaz Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif held a meeting in Raiwind recently wherein both leaders expressed consensus on many issues concerning the political situation in the country.
