Lahore - Former information minister Muhammad Ali Durrani has said that Majid Nizami’s services for the progress of journalism during his 50 years of editorship were a beacon of light for all journalists of the country.
In a meeting with Majid Nizami at his office here on Monday, Durrani congratulated him on the completion of 50 years as Editor in Chief for Nawa-e-Waqt group.
The former information minister said that Majid Nizami had rendered invaluable services to preserve the ideology of Pakistan and for the stability of the country. He added that the Editor in Chief was fighting against tyrants for the last half century and the protection of democratic values.
He prayed for the health and longevity of Majid Nizami, so he can continue his mission.
Durrani also congratulated Nawa-e -Waqt group Deputy Managing Director Rameeza Nizami for being elected as APNS Vice President.
