Tahli Morhi residents face acute water shortage

The residents of thickly populated Tahli Mohri area of the cantonment board have been facing acute water shortage owing to the failure of new water supply scheme. Expressing resentment over shortage of water, residents said area was to be provided water supply three days in a week under the new water supply scheme but water has been suspended from last two weeks. The residents said that they are forced to get water from private water tankers on high rates.
, adding that new water supply scheme has badly flopped, which was intended to reduce complaints of the residents. They demanded station commander of the cantonment board to ensure sufficient supply of water to the locality on priority basis.
