Ferozwala - The CIA police in a crack down against the fugitives have arrested fifty proclaimed offenders and recovered nineteen motorcycles a Pajero Jeep, three cars, two Toyota wagons and a mini-truck from their possession. Beside huge quantity of sophisticated weapons, the police also sized 25 kg contraband including 2500 bottles of liquor from POs. DPO Dr. Haider Ashraf in a briefing on Monday told the press. He said a CIA police raiding team led by inspector Riaz Abbas, S.I Ashraf and Talat under the instruction of DIG Sheikhupura Range were primed for an operation against these criminals. The raiding team within a short time triumphed against PO’s. Four notorious gangs were cracked and four criminals were arrested involved in various heinous crimes the DPO said. Cash award and commendation certificate were awarded to raiding team members.

TMA Kiran Khursheed in an operation against the commercial map fee sealed a big shoe store located on Lahore Sargodha road on Monday. Similarly the administrator raided another under construction plaza at More Joyanwala and stopped construction owing to non payment of commercial fee.

Two youth die for lack of hospital The citizen welfare society in Nankana has concerns over the paucity of medical facilities in local DHQ hospital and careless attitude of the doctors here on Monday.

 The CWS meeting chaired by the chairman Ch. Afzal Haque said that although after giving status of Nankana as district in 2006 the standard of local DHQ was like tehsil head quarter hospital, the chairman CWS said. He added that two teenagers, who sustained head injuries during a bike accident, lost their lives dues to the negligence of doctors and lack of medical facilities. The doctors on duties did not bother to guide the deceased’s heirs to take them to any other hospital the chairman CWS said. He demanded the secretary and director general health to take necessary action against the doctors on duty and provide all the essential facilities to DHQ hospital according to its standard.
