LAHORE - Chief Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik of the Lahore High Court has transferred 330 judicial officers including 170 civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates, 35 senior civil judges and 125 additional district and sessions judges across the Punjab.

The officers, according to the notification issued here the other day, shall assume charge of their new offices on or before April 6, 2015.

All the cases (including part heard cases) pending in the courts of the officers transferred without substitute shall evenly be distributed amongst the District/Additional District & Session Judges posted at District/sub-division, by the concerned District & Session Judge.

Amongst the Civil judges and senior civil judges 35 were promoted, transferred and posted at different cities across the Punjab. From total 125 additional district and sessions judges, 37 were promoted, transferred and posted while 88 others transferred and posted in different cities. The chief justice also transferred 170 civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates and posted them in various courts across the country.

The senior civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates who were promoted as senior civil judges included Asad Hafeez who was transferred from Muree and posted at Attock as Senior Civil Judge (SCJ), Husnain Azhar Shah Hafiz transferred from Chichawatni and posted in Bahawalpur on promotion as SCJ, Amer Zia transferred from Rawalpindi and posted in Bhakkar on promotion as SCJ, Zafar Iqbal transferred from Jhang and posted in Chakwal on promotion as SCJ, Naeem Amer transferred from Bhowana and posted in Chiniot on promotion as SCJ, Muhammad Younis Lar transferred from Multan and posted in DG Khan on promotion as SCJ.

Muhammad Ashfaq transferred from Okara and posted in Faisalabad on promotion as SCJ, Samina Ijaz Cheema transferred from Lahore and posted in Gujranwala on promotion as SCJ, Munir Hussain transferred from Gujrat and posted in Gujrat on promotion as SCJ, Malik Abid Hussain transferred from Lodhran and posted in Hafizabad, Kashif Qayyum transferred from  Rawalpindi and posted in Jhang on promotion as SCJ, Muhammad Irfan Naseem Tarar transferred from Rawalpindi and posted in Jhelum on promotion as SCJ, Rana Sohail transferred from Kasur and posted in Sheikhupura on promotion as SCJ.

The chief justice also transferred, posted 170 civil judges-cum-judicial magistrate across the Punjab. However, the officers transferred on representation are not entitled to draw transfer grant.
