LAHORE The Lahore to Kasur Road Cycle Race will be held on Sunday (August 8) to celebrate the Independence Day of Pakistan. To celebrate the Independence Day, the Punjab Cycling Association is holding the activity on ordinary cycles in collaboration with the District Sports Committee Kasur. The race will start from Punjab Stadium Ferozepur Road on Sunday at 7.00 AM sharp. The thumbs up for the race will be given by Ch. Kamran Amin, President, Punjab Cycling Association as chief guest. This race is open and any cyclist can participate to celebrate the Independence Day of Pakistan. The race will be finish at GT Road Kasur. Mr. Akbar Murad, District Sports Office, will welcome the cyclists at finish point while the chief guest of the closing ceremony will be District Coordination Officer Kasur, Malik Jaghnzaib Awan, who will distribute prizes to the winners at Kasur. The cyclist can register their names with the organizing Secretary Sardar Nazakat Ali at starting point 6 AM. The director of this race will be Mr. Qasir Saddiq Bhatti.
