Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that the murder of MQM leader was planned to trigger clash between two major political parties in Karachi. Talking to media in Islamabad on Tuesday, the minister hinted at involvement of banned religious outfits including Sipah-e-Sahaba and Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan behind Karachi unrest. He warned another terrorist activity might hit the funeral of Raza Haider today, however added that police and Rangers have been put on high alert and strict security measures have been taken to avert any untoward incident.
