WAZIRABAD - Federal Law Minister Dr Babar Awan has said PPP will form government in Punjab in 2013 and provide relief to the masses. Addressing PPP workers at the residence of Ijaz Ahmad Samma, former MPA on Monday, he said dictators had introduced undemocratic laws to weaken the assemblies and Senate. He said the companions of dictators would be punished who helped the latter to make black law just to oust elected representatives from the assemblies and senate. The dictator will also be taken back and punished, he added. The persons who do not like the Presidents visit to Britain shall keep silent and bring their assets back in the larger national interest, he said and added that Pakistan is a responsible country and its nukes are safe and sound, he added. Talking about terrorism, Dr Awan said the sacrifices of Islamabad are laudable as compare to the forces of, NATO, America, and Afghanistan. He said the people of Punjab, Sindh and KP are in trouble due to flood and rainwater and urged the rulers to come out and support these affected people morally and financially. PPP has presented tax-free budget this year and in next financial plan, special relief will be given to the party workers, he said. Talking about Double Shah cases in Punjab, he stated, NAB is taking action against such criminals. Later, Dr Awan held meetings with some delegations of party workers and also met with local Bar members, headed by President Peoples Lawyers Forum Tariq Sultan Cheema, and invite them to Islamabad with requisition of invitation to finalise his visit to Wazirabad Bar. Ex-Punjab Minister Auqaf Shah Nawaz Cheema, tehsil general secretary Khawaja Mohammad Shoaib and others were also present on the occasion.
