LAHORE The Lahore High Court Justice Khalid Mahmood Khan on Tuesday reserved judgment on the recovery case of a six-year-old girl Kaneez Bibi of Okara who went missing months ago. On the direction of the court, Inspector General of Police Punjab as well as officials concerned of the police station Okara appeared and informed the court that they were not able to recover or find out whereabouts of the minor. The IG told the court that nothing regarding the minor was available with the Nadra record whereof difficulty was arising about finding out her particulars. The statement of the IG made the court to the remark that had it been the child of any police official it would have created a flurry but here the matter of being taken lightly since the minor belongs to a poor family. The court on that required the IG to record his statement before the court that you had failed to recover the abductee and the same would be conveyed to the Chief Minister to let him know about the performance and efficiency of the police towards recovery of even a minor. If the kid of the IG has been abducted what he would have done, the court posed a query. On that the court reserved the judgement. The petition has been filed by the mother of the minor after the police failed to find out her daughter.
