FEROZEWALA - An accused in a murder case was gunned down and his brother sustained critical injuries when their rivals opened fire in front of the DSP Office here Tuesday. The district police were taking Waqas and his brother Afaq to the DSP Office when their rivals Samiullah, Imran and others attacked them, killing Waqas on the spot and injuring Afaq critically. The injured was shifted to hospital. Sheikhupura DPO Afzal Butt suspended Sub-Inspector Rab Nawaz and Constable Rehmat for negligence. Investigation was underway.
