Energy policy presented by the Prime Minister with the aim of overcoming loadshedding problem between three and four years is a great effort to support our economy, indicating to resolve energy crisis seriously and immediately. As currently cost per unit of producing electricity is Rs15.6, however it is recommended that some measures should be implemented in order to reduce cost per unit. As increase in cost per unit will not allow consumers to pay more electricity bills, which will result in more number of electricity defaulters.

Electricity bill defaulters are requested to pay bills regularly and it’s also a social responsibility of all political parties to come forward, encourage and implement steps in energy policy which are in the best interest of the nation and the economy of Pakistan.
