Pakistan is among the few developing countries where many children are suffering from cancer. Due to lack of awareness, lack of financial resources and a dearth of good medical practitioners these children are losing their lives to this deadly disease. Nearly 70 million children under the age of 15 are reported to suffer from cancer. Unfortunately, a large majority of cancer patients never get either proper diagnosis or treatment. The consumption of chalia, gutka, paan, cigarettes and sheesha increase the likelihood for an individual to suffer from this disease. I request to the government to ban the consumption of these harmful products and exert resources to develop hospitals and medical training centres.
