Punjab CM says a major package for development and welfare of Attock will be announced soon

Attock   -  Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Ahmad Khan Buzdar has said that Attock is like his second home and he keeps the people of the area close to his heart. A major package for the development and welfare of Attock will be announced soon. He expressed these views while addressing a gathering after visiting the shrine of Hazrat Khawaja Amir Ahmad Chishti (RA) in Basal Sharif Attock. He was accompanied by Member National Assembly Major (retd) Tahir Sadiq, Provincial Minister for Revenue Punjab Col (retd) Malik Muhammad Anwar, Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari, Senior Leader PTI Malik Khurram Ali Khan, Commissioner Rawalpindi Syed Gulzar Hussain Shah, RPO Rawalpindi Imran Ahmar, Deputy Commissioner Attock Imran Hamid Sheikh, DPO Attock Rana Shoaib Mehmood and Assistant Commissioner Jand Ijaz Abdul Karim. Sajada Nasheen of shrine Nizam-ul-Din welcomed the chief minister. The chief minister laid a wreath on the shrine and offered Fateha. Later, addressing the people of the area, he said that his family has a centuries-old relationship with Basal. The people of his area come from Mount Sulaiman to visit the shrine of Basal Sharif Khawaja Amir Ahmad Chishti (RA) and Attock lives in their heart. A huge amount of money has been allocated for its development and a very big package will be announced soon. He said that Rs360 billion have been allocated for all the districts this year. A new era of development has begun and he is visiting every district, tehsil, and village in this regard. Chief Minister said that he was making every effort to equip every village of Punjab with facilities and all possible steps were being taken in this regard. Earlier, Member National Assembly Major (retd) Tahir Sadiq, representing the area welcomed Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Ahmad Khan Buzdar on his arrival. Major (retd) Tahir Sadiq demanded from the Chief Minister of Punjab to declare Basal a model village with water supply, maintenance and repair of roads, upgradation of Darbar-e-Alia, upgradation of schools, establishment of a university in the name of Khawaja Amir Ahmed, sports stadium, construction of Eid Gah, supply of Sui gas and other facilities. Punjab Chief Minister assured the people that every possible facility would be provided to Basal and their problems would be solved on priority basis. 

Later, parliamentarians and notables met Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar in Basal Sharif. The CM listened to their problems and assured to resolve them on priority basis. The parliamentarians congratulated the CM over PTI’s success in PP-38 and appreciated his vision of development packages for districts.

The CM said success in PP-38 has proved that the voters have rejected anarchistic politics and there is no substitute to the politics of public service. He advised the opposition to shun negative politics and give priority to the national interest. He said I am visiting different areas and public problems are being resolved at the doorsteps of the people.

The CM disclosed that projects worth billions of rupees will be started to develop Attock adding that the Sehat Insaaf Card program has also been launched in the district. The government has started different programmes to empower the underprivileged strata, he continued and affirmed free treatment facilities to every citizen of Punjab under a universal health coverage program. The needy will not be deprived of their medical treatment now, he added. The PTI government believes in composite development and backward areas will be brought at par with developed cities, the CM announced. He said the mother and child hospital was being constructed and the latest equipment will be provided to DHQ Hospital Attock and THQ hospitals of Hazro, Fateh Jang, Hassan Abdaal, Jand and Pindi Gheb. Meanwhile, the roads repair schemes will also be completed as the district is very close to my heart like other cities.
