RAWALPINDI - PPP Punjab President, Imtiaz Safdar Warraich, along with the partys bigwigs and workers Thursday visited the monument of former premier slain Benazir Bhutto at Liaquat Bagh to pay rich tributes her for sacrificing life for protection of the masses rights and revival of democracy in the country. They had also offered Fateh and laid the flower wreaths on the monument of BB. Chairman Senate, Syed Nayyer Bokhari, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Federal Minister for Industry and Production, Ayyat Ullah Durrani, PPP Punjab General Secretary, Sami Ullah Khan, and Federal Minister for Minorities, Shahbaz Bhatti were also present on the occasion. Federal Ministers Qamar Zaman Qaira, Ayyat Ullah Durrani and Shahbaz Bhatti left the scene without taking to media men. However, Chairman Senate, Nayyer Bokhari, PPP Punjab President, Imtiaz Safdar Warraich and others cut a cake to mark the 44th Foundation Day of party at PPP city office. Earlier, upon their arrival, PPP city President Malik Aamir Fida Paracha, General Secretary, Raja Khalid Mehmood, Secretary Information, Shujjat Haider Naqvi, Rasheed Mir and scores of workers gave them a tumultuous welcome. Tight security arrangements were made by police, as the roads leading to assassination site of BB were blocked.
