LAHORE - On the auspicious occasion of the 39th National Day celebrations of UAE , the Consul General of UAE for Pakistan, Suhail Bin Matar Al-Ketbi held a dinner reception at the Sheraton Hotels and Towers, Karachi. Wishing his countrymen a very happy 39th National Day, the Consul General highlighted the historically evident and strong relations between Pakistan and UAE and their people, further strengthening the economic co-operation amongst the Islamic world, says a press release. His Excellency took this opportunity to emphasise that the fraternal deep rooted ties between the people of the two nations create an endless opportunity for mutual cooperation and collaboration, and that no effort shall be spared to further deepen the strong ties amongst the people of UAE and Pakistan in all fields. He acknowledged Pakistans essential evolutionary contribution in the forming of vital Emirati institutions such as armed forces, police, health and education, and the reciprocated satisfactory and fitting efforts of UAE extended to Pakistan. Amer Khan, country manager for Etihad Airways, the national flag carrier of UAE, while extending his heart felt felicitations to the leaders and people of UAE on this propitious occasion raffled two Etihad Airways Pearl Business Class tickets amongst the invitees of the dinner as a celebratory gesture.
