LAHORE Hafsa Amjad took four wickets for four runs to pave way for Lahore Region to register a thumping 10-wicket victory over Quetta Region in the U-19 National Women Cricket Championship match played at the Country Club Muridke Ground B on Friday. Quetta decided to bat after winning the toss and the whole team bundled out for paltry 49 runs in 17.2 over. Hafsa picked up four wickets for four runs while Saba Nazir bagged two. Lahore achieved the target in just five overs for no loss with Namra Imran scoring unbeaten 25 runs and Fareeha Mahmood remained unbeaten on 19. Hafsa was named player of the match. The semi-finals of the championship will be played today (Saturday) in which Karachi Region will face Rawalpindi Region and Lahore Region will take on Multan Region at the same venue.
