The venerable Mr Babar Awan has chaired a venomous press conference against PML (N) and the Apex Court for formulation of a judicial commission by the Court to investigate the memogate case. He has even flouted the limits to say that the Supreme Court has crossed the institutional limits. Mr. Awan who is reported to have distributed sweetmeats at Mr. Bhuttos controversial death penalty has now become an ardent supporter of President Asif Ali Zardari who claims to be spiritual son of Bhutto. Mr. Babar Awan in his effort to qualify as the proverbial his masters voice has vociferously defended his paymaster while the PPP stalwarts stood by his side as the proverbial frogs testifying to the rabid statements of a Khawaja. Mr. Babar Awan conveniently forgets or ignores that the Supreme Court defines its own limits as the final arbiter of Constitution while it has shown great patience in the case of PPPs defiance to the Court orders.
