While addressing heads of different departments, he said that the officers should be pro-people. He directed the officers of all departments that ongoing development projects under the Special Development Package should be completed by December 15. He, however, warned that the projects should be completed transparently and zero tolerance should be shown to corrupt officials and contractors who were found using substandard materials.
The Commissioner directed the DCO not to show leniency towards the officials of revenue department found negligent in the realisation of government arrears and ensure meeting the recovery target. He also emphasized the need for improvement of land record computerization.
Acting DCO Sohail Khan informed the Commissioner that due to implementation of the CM vision and concrete steps, functioning of different departments had improved and affective monitoring and feedback system had been introduced in the district.
