Public has been watching the Information Minister Sind issuing threatening speeches against PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif. Criticizing an opponent is the need of the time, but politicians are supposed to be polite and diplomatic when they want to criticise their opponent and need not undertake personal attacks to achieve their aims. Because in doing so they expose themselves before the public which sets a very bad example and shows low moral and ethical values. Nawaz Sharif has shown great restrain in replying to accusations raised by Sharjeel Memon. Not a word was uttered about the allegation that the Information Minister Sind has been throwing his way.

In the interest of good name of the party, the Minister should get his speech vetted by an expert to avoid embarrassment to his ruling party. This certainly negates the democratic norms as envisioned by the Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. People want decent behaviour from the politicians who are holding important portfolios to set an example of democracy in the country.
