LAHORE:- The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved two development schemes having an estimated cost of Rs123.04 million. These schemes were approved in the 35th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17. Provincial Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, members of the Planning & Development Board, provincial secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.–Staff Reporter

 According to spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included: urban development scheme of feasibility study and detailed design for signal free movement at Liaquat Bagh and Marrir Chowk, Rawalpindi (PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 10 million and mines & minerals sector scheme titled Rock Salt Potential Blocks Delineation in Salt Range, Punjab (PC-II) at the cost of Rs113.04 million.
