International Day of Persons with Disabilities is being observed today to promote the rights and well-being of special persons in all spheres of society, reported Radio Pakistan.

The theme of the day of this year is "Transformation towards sustainable and resilient society for all”.

The day is also aimed to increase awareness of the situation of special persons in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life.
