LAHORE - Higher Education Commission (HEC) stretched to five setters to earn a hard fought battle against Punjab 3-2 as three more matches were decided in the Engro 52nd National Senior Men’s Volleyball Championship’s quarterfinal stage at the Punjab Sports Gymnasium’s Hall here on Thursday. HEC won with the score being 25-22, 15-25, 23-25, 25-20, 15-9. In the similar fashion, KPK won their last match of the quarterfinal stage beating Railways 3-0 with the score being 25-19, 25-16, 25-16. Earlier, last night Navy defeated Punjab 3-0 with the score being 25-12, 25-17, 31-29.
