KARACHI (APP) - Private producers will increase the per kilo price of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) by Rs 12 in next 24 hours. This was stated by the Chairman LPG Distributors Association Irfan Khokhar in a statement here Monday. He said the private producers will raise prices by 33 percent or Rs 11,699 per metric ton, rising from Rs 34,898 to Rs 46,597. This will push up price of commercial cylinder by Rs 552, domestic cylinder by Rs 138 and per kilo price by Rs 12. Khokhar said that OGRA and the government have not increased LPG prices. He called upon the government to stop private producers from raising LPG prices.
