RAWALPINDI: As many as 26 government schools of Rawalpindi city have been declared sensitive.

The management of these 26 schools have been directed to ensure fool proof security arrangements in their respective schools immediately failing which legal action would be initiated against them.

Sources said that AC Rawalpindi City Ahmad Hassan Ranjha visited the government schools along with his team and declared 26 schools of Rawalpindi city including all the schools of Khiaban-e-Sir Syed sensitive.

He issued directives that school administration should ensure security arrangements forthwith otherwise stern action would be taken against them.

The teachers have voiced strong protest against the threats for registration of cases against them and warned that the schools would be shut down if such action was initiated against them.
