A delegation of both the District Bar and Tehsil Bar Associations will call on Lahore high Court chief Justice Ijazul Ahsan here on Wednesday (today) and will apprise him of the problems impeding the dispensation of speedy justice.

Newly-elected DG Khan District Bar Association President Behram Khan Buzdar Khan stated at a press conference here on Tuesday.

Newly-elected Taunsa Sharif Tehsil Bar Association President Ghulam Asghar Langra, DBA General Secretary Azhar Khan Sikhani, TBA General Secretary Zahoor Khan Tangwani, and Joint Secretary Muhammad Amin Jhagra accompanied him. They pledged that they would take up the problems being faced by the lawyers’ community with the LHC Chief Justice. “The common man in the country is grappling multifarious problems to get cheap and quick justice due to the mismanagement of government,” they claimed, adding that the government should provide the lawyers community with ideal facilities and incentives, set up Banking Court and appoint Member Revenue Board at DG Khan, rehabilitate the worn-out condition of the libraries and set up a consumer court at Taunsa Sharif.

“We want to build good working relationship with the bench to address the appointment prevailed among the justice-seekers,” they described. Both the DBA and TBA office-bearers also assured that the lawyers would spare no effort to ensure speedy justice and improve justice dispensation system.
