Five gamblers among 16 outlaws held

islamabad - Islamabad police have arrested 16 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered narcotics, snatched cash and valuables from their possession, a police spokesman said yesterday. On a tip-off, Nilor police arrested five gamblers red-handed and recovered stake money, valuables and gambling tools from them. The nabbed persons have been identified as Walayat, Javed, Habib, Hadayat and Zeeshan.
Meanwhile, Aabpara police have arrested Haroon Masih and recovered 350 grams heroin from him.
Tarnol police apprehended four persons Shoaib, Waqas, Naseem Khan and Ahmed for their alleged involvement in illegal sale of petroleum products. Lohi Bher police apprehended five persons Hussain, Ehsan, Ali, Abid Hussain and Ghulam Abbas for their alleged involvement in decanting gas in cylinders illegally. Ramana police arrested Adnan allegedly involved in a theft case.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is under way.
