LAHORE PML-F President Pir Pagara Sunday advised Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to 'quit honourably, rather than being dislodged after humiliation. Talking to TheNation after MQM chief Altaf Hussain called him from London, the Pir said the MQM would stick to the decision of sitting on opposition benches and would not change its position. As for his own partys policy in the changed situation, he said the status quo would continue. At present the Pirs party is supporting the government both at the Centre and in Sindh. Prime Minister Gilani is a close relative of Pir Pagara. Answering a question, the Pir said the country was heading towards fresh elections, but before that there would be ruthless accountability of the corrupt. He said he could not say how long the accountability process could take as a large number of people had to face the process. ASHRAF MUMTAZ
