This is an open letter to the Judicial Commission on Memogate. James Jones says the Memo was written by Mansoor Ijaz without any input from Hussain Haqqani. The question James Jones should be asked is why did he agree to forward a Memo which he thought was written by an individual but which involved the government of Pakistan on very serious issues. Should he not have refused to forward the Memo written by an individual who in his opinion had not been authorised to do so. Did James Jones show very poor judgment then or is he trying to be too clever now.
