KARACHI - Khan Research Laboratories topped points table with 62 points in the Pakistan Premier Football League when it scored confident 3-0 win over  KESC here on Wednesday at the KPT ground.

All three goals of the closely contested encounter came late in the second session after a goalless first session. Abid scored twice, first in 55th minute and second in 86th minute. In between these two goals Kaleemullah added one in 82nd minute. Abid Khan was declared man of the match while Kaleem Ullah was named best player.

In another match of the championship which is fast approaching the closing stage Muslim FC was given walk over against Wohaib FC that failed to make an appearance at Govt High School Ground, Chaman which was the venue of the contest.

The match commissioner Ghulam M Samad when contacted to know the reason of non appearance of Wohaib Club, said the manager of Lahore team had informed him the club had decided to stay away from the scheduled match due to overall law and order situation in the area.
